Principal's Message

July 18, 2026

Dragon Nation,

I hope you and your family have had a wonderful, relaxing summer break. While I know summer always seems to fly by, our faculty and staff have been hard at work preparing for another outstanding year at Warren Central High School. We are excited to welcome our students back and officially kick off the 2026-2027 school year.

One of the highlights before school begins is our Freshman Orientation and Open House on Monday, August 3. Freshman Orientation is a great opportunity for our newest Dragons and their families to become familiar with our school, meet staff, and learn what to expect during their first year of high school. Doors will open at 4:30 PM, and families should enter through the front doors before gathering in the auditorium for a short meeting beginning at 5:00 PM.

Following Freshman Orientation, we invite all students and families to attend our Open House beginning at 6:00 PM. Families should enter through the gymnasium, where schedules will be available and representatives from a variety of school programs and organizations will be on hand to answer questions. After picking up schedules, families will be able to enter the main building, meet teachers, visit classrooms, and become familiar with their students' schedules before the first day of school.

The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 12. Our doors will open at 7:05 AM, allowing students time to eat breakfast and get settled before classes begin promptly at 7:35 AM. Students arriving after 7:35 AM will be considered late, so we encourage everyone to begin establishing morning routines that will help ensure a smooth start to the school year.

As we begin this new school year, our commitment remains the same: providing every student with a safe, welcoming environment where they are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We look forward to partnering with our families as we continue building on the traditions of excellence that make Warren Central High School such a special place.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can reach me at colton.isaacs@warren.kyschools.us or call the school at (270) 842 7302.

We cannot wait to see everyone back on campus for a fantastic 2026-2027 school year!

Go Dragons!
