Principal's Message

February 2026

Dragon Nation,

February has brought a great deal of momentum back to Warren Central High School. After several weather related closures and NTI days, it has been wonderful to see our halls full again with students engaged in learning. Thank you for your flexibility and support during the schedule changes. When schools and families work together, our students benefit.

As we move deeper into the semester, our focus on strong instruction and student achievement continues. Classrooms remain centered on building reading, writing, and math skills while challenging students to think critically and stay actively involved in their learning. This is an important stretch of the school year, and consistent effort from our students now will help position them for success on upcoming assessments and beyond.

I want to encourage all families to stay connected to your student’s progress. Checking grades regularly, maintaining open communication with teachers, and reinforcing the importance of attendance make a meaningful difference. Simply put, students who are present and engaged are far more likely to thrive academically.

We are especially excited about our upcoming Parent Engagement opportunities this month. These events are designed to strengthen the partnership between school and home while providing valuable resources to support your child’s success. We hope you will make plans to join us. Your involvement sends a powerful message to students about the importance of their education.

I would also like to thank our students, staff, and families for the resilience you have shown this winter. Adjusting routines is never easy, but Dragon Nation continues to rise to the challenge. That perseverance is what makes our school community so special.

As always, please reach out if you have questions or need support. We are here to help every student start the new year strong and finish the school year with pride. You can contact me at colton.isaacs@warren.kyschools.us or call us directly at (270) 842-7302.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Dragon Nation. Let us make this spring semester a great one.

Go Dragons!
