Principal's Message

April 2026

Dragon Nation,

We have entered the final sprint of the school year. April marks a critical time at Warren Central High School as we prepare for state assessments, end of course testing, performances, athletic competitions, and many year end celebrations. The next several weeks will move quickly, and every day of attendance and effort matters.

Our teachers and students are working hard to finish strong. Classrooms remain focused on building reading, writing, math, and content knowledge while preparing students for upcoming assessments, including the Kentucky Summative Assessment for our sophomores and juniors. These tests are important measures of student growth and school progress, and we are confident our students are ready to show what they have learned.

Families play a vital role during this stretch. Please help by encouraging consistent attendance, ensuring students get adequate sleep, and reminding them to come prepared each day. Staying organized and maintaining strong routines now can make a significant difference in performance and stress levels.

April and May are also filled with activities that celebrate the talents and accomplishments of our students. From spring sports and performances to academic milestones, this is a season that showcases the hard work of an entire year. We encourage families to stay connected through our communications and come out to support our students whenever possible.

As we approach the finish line, I want to thank our students, staff, and families for your continued partnership. Dragon Nation has shown resilience, determination, and pride throughout the year, and those qualities will carry us through a successful conclusion to the school year.

If you have questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. You can contact me at colton.isaacs@warren.kyschools.us or call the school at (270) 842 7302.

Let's finish strong together.

Go Dragons!
