Principal's Message

October 2026

Dragon Nation,

It is hard to believe that we are already entering October! The first several weeks of the 2026-2027 school year have gone by quickly, and I am extremely proud of the way our students and staff have started the year. Our students have settled into their routines, our classrooms are busy with learning, and there are great things happening throughout Warren Central each day.

One of our biggest areas of focus this year continues to be student attendance. Our goal is to maintain an average daily attendance rate of 96% or higher, and we have been very close to that goal throughout the beginning of the school year. Every day matters. When students are at school, on time, and engaged in their classes, they put themselves in the best position to be successful. Thank you to our families for continuing to make regular attendance a priority.

As we move further into the semester, we also want students and families to continue monitoring academic progress. Teachers are regularly updating grades, and we encourage families to check Infinite Campus and have conversations with students about their progress. If a student needs additional academic support, ESS is now available to provide extra help outside of the regular school day. We want students to take advantage of the resources available to them before they begin falling behind.

October is always an exciting month at Warren Central, with our classrooms, clubs, performing arts programs, and athletic teams all in full swing. I encourage our families to stay connected through Dragon Nation News each week for important announcements, upcoming events, athletic schedules, and other opportunities for students.

As always, thank you for your continued partnership and support of Warren Central High School. We have had a great start to the year, and I am excited about the work ahead as we continue challenging and supporting every student to reach their full potential.

If you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to support your student, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can reach me at colton.isaacs@warren.kyschools.us or call the school at (270) 842-7302.

Go Dragons!
